Cuckoo for Chrono Trigger #2!
Observing time in a linear fashion, we continue on from the past to the present!
Diehard fans of the game will recognise that this setting is actually the near past, but it was close enough to the game’s present day that I took some artistic liberties. Plus it’s an excuse to draw my favourite game trio: Flea, Ozzie, and Slash (the three figures at the bottom).
I’m still going to wax lyrical about this game: there’s a rivalry between a giant frog and a demon lord that gets settled by conquering the twin personalities of an ancient sword. I mean come on!

I really love Chrono Trigger. You could even say I’m…Cuckoo…for the game.
With that out of the way, here’s the first of three images I did to honour one of my most favourite SNES games of all time!
Since the game focuses on time travel, each clock features a time period and this is the past.
I can’t stress this enough: you really should play this game. There are reptile overlords, giant triceratops, and over 10 different game endings!
No joke. I love this game.
